Embark on an Adventure: MGSD Oregon Trail Learning Event!
Hello MGSD families!
๐ฒ๐๏ธ Are you ready to step back in time and experience the thrill of pioneer life on the historic Oregon Trail? ๐ฒ๐๏ธย
Join us for a one-of-a-kind learning event that blends education with adventure as we journey through the footsteps of the brave pioneers who trekked westward in search of new opportunities and a better life. Your journey will start in Independence, Missouri (aka MGSD Central Office, 305 N Main) and take you throughout the wild west of Downtown Mooresville fighting hunger and disease until you make it to Willamette Valley in Oregon (...that would be the little park with the big 250 statue at the corner of McLelland and Main). Please read through the important details below and then RSVP putting in the notes if you know approximately what time you plan on starting your journey. ย If you aren't sure, that is perfectly fine. Life on the Oregon Trail in the 1800s was a bit unpredictable! ย We kindly ask that an adult accompany any children younger than high school age. ย
We hope you can join us for this wonderful event and promise it will be much more fun than the original journey ! ๐
